There are no accounts

You never sign in, so nothing here is attached to your name. There is no student login, no email collection, and no way for anyone — including Mr. Levy — to look up what a particular student has done on this site.

Page visits

When a page is opened, the site records the page address, the time, and whether the browser is a phone, tablet or computer. Visits within one browser tab share a random number so they can be counted as a single visit; that number is thrown away when the tab closes and is never linked to a person.

No IP addresses are stored. This is a deliberate choice: it means the numbers can say “forty visits opened the Unit 1A notes” and can never say who they were.

Badges

Which days you have visited, and any badges earned, are stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere. When a badge is earned the site records that somebody earned that badge — the badge name and the time, nothing else. Clearing your browser data erases your badges, because your browser is the only place they exist.

AP Stats GPT

The AP Stats GPT is a custom ChatGPT assistant. When you use it, it reports back to this site that a conversation happened, so Mr. Levy can see how much the tutor is being used. What it sends is limited to:

• the time
• a general category, such as “homework help” or “practice requested”
• a random number identifying the conversation, meaningless outside it
• your class period, but only if you choose to tell it

Your questions, your wording, and the tutor’s answers are never sent to this site and are never stored here. There is nowhere in the database to put them. Your conversation itself stays in ChatGPT and is governed by OpenAI’s privacy policy.

Virtual labs

Labs are done in groups and you enter a group name your teacher can recognise, so the work can be graded. That is coursework, handed in the same way as anything else in the class.

Nothing is sold or shared

None of this is sold, shared, or used for advertising. There are no third-party trackers or advertising cookies on this site. The numbers exist so a teacher can see which materials are worth making more of.
